Artist Statement
Gardens can sometimes appear in the most unexpected places. This artwork is the first of my artworks that I would consider a "still life" in that the hero object is a vase I feel you would find on a terrace in Spain. Visualising the feeling of reading a book in the sunshine, surrounded by plants and festoon lights shaped as chilli's, I think a bottle of Tempranillo is the perfect accompaniment.
